As the theme of the 2021 Bled eConference is Digital support from crisis to progressive change, the Bled Students Bazaar is specifically dedicated to applications and software-based solutions that transform people’s lives in a value-sensitive way. Think of apps that help patients to cope with their medication intake, that helps them stop smoking, which warn them if air pollution is endangering their allergy. But also think of software solutions for citizens that leverage (big) data smartly in a smart city context, for example enabling sustainable and healthy mobility choices, or think of software prototypes that demonstrate new business models, e.g. leveraging Blockchain technology. The possibilities are endless. But what really works? These are the key considerations of this call for proposals.

We call bachelors, honors, masters, and Ph.D. students in information, computer, organization, management, innovation, health, and related disciplines, from all countries, to write a proposal in which the idea is thoroughly described.

We welcome submissions to the Bled eConference Doctoral Consortium by March 15, 2021.

Doctoral Consortium provides an opportunity for doctoral and research master students to write and present an aspect of their research.

Authors will be expected to present their research at the Doctoral Consortium session at the conference, where they will receive written notes by Doctoral Consortium co-chairs. There will be ample time scheduled for questions and debates to help guide you through the various aspects of your research. Along with Doctoral Consortium co-chairs, the session is joined by other senior researchers and professors. We encourage supervisors to join us in the exciting session and provide their feedback on all presentations. This day provides a rich experience for both students and supervisors about the process of research.

The finalized papers will be published in the conference proceedings under the Doctoral Consortium section.

Dear Colleagues and supporters of Bled eConference,
we invite you to consider the submission of your research to the 34th Bled eConference – Digital Support from Crisis to Progressive Change.

Slovenian Convention Bureau hosted the Slovenian Ambassador Programme on 30th November and announced this year’s Slovenian Congress Ambassadors.

We are happy to announce that one of the recipients of the Slovenian Congress Ambassador title is the chair of Bled eConference, professor dr. Andreja Pucihar.

Dear friends and supporters of Bled eConference,

Even though this year we couldn’t meet in person, we had a program committee meeting on Friday.

Since our meeting was held online, many of our colleagues from around the world were able to join in and participate in a discussion on our plans for the 2021 conference.

We are looking forward to the next installment of the conference and we will be keeping you updated via the Bled eConference website and social media as we progress through planning activities.
