Proper explored the role of architectural coordination in the development of digital twins, addressing the socio-economic sustainability of digital innovation within broader information system ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p>The opening continued with a compelling panel discussion on the evolving paradigm of data spaces\u2014examining them from technological, sustainability, and humanistic viewpoints.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of three days, the conference hosted presentations of 44 full research papers and 6 research-in-progress papers, spanning a wide range of contemporary topics: Digital Health, Digital Education, Digital Consumer, AI &amp; Data Science, Decision Analytics, Business Models, Digital Transformation of Public Services, Smart Sustainable Cities, Restructured Work, Digital Ethics and others.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud to announce this year\u2019s Outstanding Paper Awards:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTowards a Unified Taxonomy for Digital Assistant Technologies: Addressing the Jingle-Jangle Fallacies\u201d \u2013 Authors: Niklas Prei\u00df (Sheffield Hallam University \/ Munich Business School) and Markus Westner (OTH Regensburg, Germany)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAI-based Business Model Innovation: A ChatGPT Integration Approach\u201d &#8211; Authors: Florian Bongard and J\u00fcrgen Moormann (Frankfurt School of Finance &amp; Management, Germany)<\/p>\n<p>The Outstanding Reviewer Award was presented to John van Meerten from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, The Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Student Bazaar featured three international student teams from Slovenia and the Netherlands, who presented innovative ideas and prototypes. The jury and public vote unanimously selected this year\u2019s winner of the Ren\u00e9 W. Wagenaar Student Bazaar: Jumiclusion \u2013 An Application to Improve Employment Opportunities for Persons with Special Needs in Slovenia, developed by Tamara Belec from the University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to all award recipients!<\/p>\n<p>The conference also featured several high-impact workshops and events that enriched the program and fostered meaningful dialogue: Research for Impact in Digital Innovation, Strengthening the Ecosystem for Sustainable Student Mobility, and ForeDanube: Foresight for the Danube Region\u2019s Future.<\/p>\n<p>We extend our heartfelt thanks to all keynote speakers, authors, reviewers, track chairs, panelists, discussants, and participants for their valuable contributions and engagement. After the first feedback, we can say that the change was well received.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Since Sunday, we had the opportunity to listen to many interesting presentations and stimulating discussions on the topic \u00bbResilience through digital innovation: enabling the twin transition\u00ab.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Traditionally, the conference started with the Doctoral Consoritum, where 7 PhD students presented their research projects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">The official conference opening on Monday morning featured insightful keynote speeches from Marianne ter Veen, who shed light on how digital sustainability can create long-term value, transparency and equity for all stakeholders, and Tomi Ilija\u0161, who demonstrated how AI-driven innovation can improve the lives of individuals, organizations and societies. The opening session continued with a panel addressing the paradigm of evolving data spaces from a technological, sustainability, and humanistic perspective.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Over the three days, 47 research papers and 5 ongoing research papers were presented, focusing on the following topics: Digital Health, Digital Education, Digital Consumer, AI &amp; Data Science, Decision Analytics, Business Models, Digital Transformation of Public Services, Smart Sustainable Cities, Restructured Work, and Digital Ethics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">The main theme of the conference was also reflected in the competition for the best student innovative digital solution, the \"Students Bazaar\". The top three places were awarded to teams of Slovenian and Dutch students:<\/p>\n\u00bbHelpInHands \u2013 Application for Connecting Elderly and Volunteers\u00ab by Maja Medved, Maja Juntez- in Gjorgji Srnjakov, Univerza v Mariboru, Fakulteta za organizacijske vede,\n\n\u00bbEcommuter \u2013 Calculating Carbon Footprint for Your Employees\u00ab, by Nick Kuiper, Chaim de Gelder, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Nizozemska, and\n\n\u00bbTravel of Taste \u2013 Mobile Application for Traditional Food and Drinks\u00ab, by Bla\u017e \u0160imunkovi\u010d, Bla\u017e Kvasnik, \u017diga Brcar, Univerza v Mariboru, Fakulteta za organizacijske vede.\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">In addition to that, we hosted the workshops: Fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis and Open Data Maturity. Wednesday morning started with the panel on \u201cEmpowering Paths: The Importance of Building a Support Network for Women and Girls in IT\u201d and concluded with two awarded \"outstanding paper\" presentations:<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Alinda Kokkinou, Breda University of Applied Sciences &amp; AVANS University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands with the paper \u201cCultivating a Data-Driven Culture: Exploring the Role of Data Analytic Capability, Employee Empowerment, and Transformational Leadership\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">and<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Ondrej Mitas, Albert Mandemakers, Breda University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands, Ruben D\u2019Hauwers, August Bourgeus, imec-SMIT, VUB, Belgium with their paper: \u201cEmpowering Data Sovereignty: Strategies of Data Intermediaries in Data Ecosystems\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">The outstanding reviewer award was presented to Annemae van de Hoef, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, The Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Congratulations to all award winners!<\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\">Finally, we would like to thank all keynote speakers, presenters, discussants, track chairs, reviewers, and panelists for their valuable contributions and constructive feedback.
