Dear students & mentors!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We would like to\u00a0<\/span>invite you to our traditional international student case study competition<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>which will take place in Portoroz, Slovenia.<\/p>\n

The concept of a case study is a methodologically and educationally oriented challenge, aimed at integration of different theoretical concepts and situations from the real business environment, in other words, a Case Study is a documented study of specific real-life situations, used as a training tool, where students are required to analyse the prescribed case and present their solutions to the company representatives. For this reason alone, the Case Study methodology allows participants a detailed insight into a practical business-oriented problem of a studied organization or a company, through diverse discussions as a method of active learning, which promotes the implementation and development of critical and creative thinking needed in the field of management.<\/p>\n

But case study competition isn\u2019t just a competition. It is a chance to present yourselves as an active part of student community, meet new people and employees (or company representatives) and learn new valuable skills.<\/p>\n

What can we offer?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u2013 Possibility of gaining new skills and knowledge.
\u2013 An option to meet company representatives and to present your skill set.
\u2013 Receiving a certificate of attendance that you can use in your resume.
\u2013 You are excused of paying any application fees.<\/p>\n

Time and duration<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u2013\u00a0<\/span>From 13th to 20th March 2025.<\/strong>
\u2013 On\u00a0<\/span>Thursday 13th March 2024<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>case giving\u00a0<\/span>company will present<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>their company and this year\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>case study problem via online tool MS Teams<\/strong>.
\u2013 You will have\u00a0<\/span>one week to develop a solution<\/strong>, so\u00a0<\/span>on Thursday 20th March 2025<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>each team will\u00a0<\/span>present their solution<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0<\/span>Portoroz, Slovenia.<\/strong>
\u2013 The winners of the competition will be announced on the last day of the competition (20th March 2025) in Portoro\u017e, Slovenia.
\u2013 You will receive the exact agenda after your registration.<\/p>\n

Rules and guidelines<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u2013 Teams that apply for the competition must consist at least 4 students and maximum 6 students.
\u2013 You will be presenting your solutions in English.
\u2013 Presentation of each team is limited to 15 minutes.
\u2013 At the beginning of the competition participants will be presented with the rules of case study competition (in details) and the key frameworks of a business-related problem from Slovenian company that is a sponsor of the competition.
\u2013 Students have one week to solve the problem\/s.
\u2013 You can apply for the case study by\u00a0<\/span>March 7th, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>via the\u00a0<\/span>form:<\/strong><\/p>\n
