Before the competition, student had two days to find a solution to the business problem, which was given through skype from organization GS1 Slovenia on Monday, 19th March 2018. The title of this year’s challenge was “From brand awareness to standard implementation,” where students were given the task of analysing and researching the possibilities of raising the visibility of GS1 Slovenia as a global provider of bar code standards among students.

Call for Papers

University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences is organizing the 37th International Conference on Organizational Science Development. The conference will be held from 21st to 23rd March 2018 in Portorož, Slovenia.

Plenary sessions and research paper panels will bring together numerous professionals from the economy, research and education, healthcare, public administration, tourism, army, police, finance and insurance as well as other fields. As such, this conference presents a meeting point for different topics but with a common thread, namely organizational business process management, information systems, and human resource management systems.

This year’s conference programme will include additional education in the form of lectures, round tables, seminars, and workshops connected with the working title of the conference. Let this be an opportunity for you to present and discuss your work and your experience.

Submitted papers will be reviewed and authors will be notified of acceptance.

Accepted papers will be published in Conference proceedings (online version with ISBN).
