You are cordially invited to submit an extended research paper that you have presented at SOR’17 conference for consideration of publication in the journal Organizacija. The extended paper will be double blind reviewed and, if accepted, will be published in one of the four regular issues of the journal Organizacija.

Organizacija (Journal of Management, Information Systems and Human Resources ISSN 1318-5454) is an interdisciplinary peer reviewed journal that seeks both theoretical and practical papers devoted to managerial aspects of the subject matter indicated in the title. In particular, the journal focuses on papers which cover state-of-art developments in the subject area of the journal, its implementation and use in the organizational practice. Organizacija is covered by numerous Abstracting & Indexing services, and is in registered in SCOPUS since Novembe 2016. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Submission Guidelines

1. The extended papers can be submitted via e-mail to one of the following e-addresses: our.economy@um.si or nase.gospodarstvo@um.si.
2. The authors are requested to follow the Author Guidelines: http://www.ng-epf.si.
3. The deadline for submission is 31/1/2018.

Although the call is primarily asking for journal versions of contributions of registered participants of SOR’17, other submissions are welcome.

Submission Details: The format of manuscripts for CEJOR as well as guidelines and templates can be found on the webpage of Springer-Verlag (https://www.editorialmanager.com/cjor/). When prompted, please select the article type “S.I. : SOR-SympSlov”.

All papers submitted for publication will be refereed according to the standards of the journal.

A special issue of the Business Systems Research Journal with extended versions of selected papers from SOR’17 (The 14th International Symposium on Operations Research in Bled, Slovenia) will be published under the journal’s publishing standards. Special issue is scheduled for publication in September 2019 (Vol. 9 No. 1).

We have just closed The 14th International Symposium on Operations Research (SOR’17) being held from September 27 till 29, 2017 in Bled, Slovenia. We are pleased to see that our SOR’17 has been completed according to our common efforts.

Your attentiveness to individual presentations as well as your friendly support to our efforts to do our best has soaked our three days event with professional dedication, objective vitality and pioneering rigor. Such are our feelings hereby thanking to all the authors of the papers, keynote speakers, the speakers at the Opening and Closing ceremony, chairs at session, and all other participants.

We are happy to announce that Proceedings of SOR’17, which contains blindly reviewed papers or abstracts of talks presented at the symposium SOR’17, is now available at the SDI-SOR internet page http://www.drustvo-informatika.si/sekcije/sor/sor-publikacijepublications/. You can find there also the proceedings of SDI-SOR previous symposia SOR’15, SOR’13, SOR’11, SOR’09, SOR’07, and SOR’05.
