- Free parking places for SOR’17 attendeces are also available at Višja gostinska šola za gostinstvo in turizem Bled, Prešernova 32, Bled (3 minutes walk from the Hotel Astoria).
- There are also available payable public parking places at IEDC Bled or TVD Partizan (nearby hotel).
BLED AND HOW TO GET THERE
By Car:
From Ljubljana take A2 highway northwest out of the city and follow the signs for Kranj or Jesenice. From Austria, pass Jesenice following signs for Ljubljana. Bled is well sign-posted.
By Plane:
The nearest international airport is Ljubljana Airport at Brnik only 36 km away.
Direct shuttle bus service and private transfers between the airport and Bled are organized throughout the year.
By Bus:
With regular bus routes Bled is connected with the surrounding area and all major towns in Slovenia.
By Train:
The Lesce-Bled railway station (4 km) lies on the Villach – Jesenice – Ljubljana – Belgrade – Istanbul – Athens railway line. It is approximately 45 km from the national borders with Austria (Wurzenpass – Korensko sedlo) and Italy (Fusine Laghi – Rateče). In addition, there are a few IC services a day. Buses connect the station with Bled every 30 minutes for €2. A taxi to/from the station costs €10. More info on Slovenian Railways.
