Author Guidelines

Research Papers

Research papers addressing one of the conference research topics should be original, unpublished elsewhere, and no longer than 12 pages (reference list excluded). Papers for review should be submitted in PDF format, Word or Word open XML document (file extensions .pdf, .doc).
Please note that all papers are subjects of the double-blind review process, therefore please submit the first version of your papers for review without author information in the text.
The final version of the paper should be submitted in Word or Word open XML document (file extension .doc). We suggest that the text of the submitted papers is proofread by a language editor, an English native speaker.
After revisions upload the final version of your paper via Easychair. You can do this by signing in as an author and updating the file of your existing submission. Please make sure that the final version of the paper includes the name, affiliation, and email address of every author.

Research in progress papers

The Bled Forum invites submissions as short papers with possibly associated posters on topics related to the conference’s main theme and special interest themes. Forum papers can present research in progress and should be original and innovative, and not longer than 6 pages (reference list excluded). All submissions will be evaluated in a similar manner as full papers. Through short presentations possibly enhanced with posters delegates will be able to show their accepted (preliminary) research and receive feedback in an interactive way. Posters will be displayed during the conference.  Accepted forum papers will appear in a special section of the conference proceedings.

Review Process

All papers will be reviewed by at least two reviewers, to ensure this, authors may be contacted with a request to review papers. Based on the recommendations of the reviewers, the Research Track Chair accepts the paper; demands minor or major changes, or rejects the paper.

Publication

Conference proceedings are published in open access by the University of Maribor Press (https://press.um.si/). Full research papers are additionally listed in the AIS eLibrary under the Bled eConference series (https://aisel.aisnet.org/bled/).

Please note that for the paper to be published through Bled eConference, at least one of the authors needs to be registered for and present the paper at the conference.
