Alen Kobilica is a successful athlete and entrepreneur. He graduated from the Faculty of Sports, University of Ljubljana and became a professor of sport. A worldwide successful model and owner of Alen Kobilica modeling agency lost his sight in 2009 after a series of surgical treatments of his brain tumour. Alen has never given up. Nowadays he is a successful paratriathlon athlete. He has recently scored the first Slovenian victory in the World Cup in Elite Paratriathlon in South Africa  followed by another one in Madrid.  He is planning to attend the Rio 2016 Olympic  Games. Alen is also an enthusiastic supporter and promoter of healthy lifestyle, and a co-owner of Proorganika, the organic food company. Besides being a worldwide successful sportsman and entrepreneur, Alen is also the founder, mastermind and ambassador of the centre for blind sportsmen “Vidim cilj” ( translated as “I see the goal”). The  Centre’s mission is to engage blind people to active life with sports activities. But Alen’s heart goes beyond that. His mission is also to inspire and stimulate all children with any kind of physical impairment for sports activities, socializing with friends and especially to live the life.
