The cost of cybercrime is estimated to reach approximately $6 trillion per year on average through 2021, while in 2013 global annual cost was close to $900 billion. And while cybercrime figures are growing exponentially every year contrary to the available cybersecurity workforce, efforts to improve on the rapidly deteriorating situation either on the national or European level are scarce. SICEH Foundation has been a vocal promoter of good cybersecurity practices from its inception, so we will look at what could and must be done if we are to curb the growing crime trends through a recap of SICEH Foundation projects and presentations.
